Excellent value! Great steaks cooked on a schwenker over a wood fire. Very family friendly. Helpful and friendly staff. Definitely recommend trying if you are not vegetarian, although they did have a cheese steak meat alternative on the menu.

A very comfortable place to stay. The food was very good, the service was very friendly. There is a playground with sand toys for the little ones. There were also go carts and other vehicles. In addition, the children could look for and find gemstones that were scattered everywhere in the gravel. All in all very nice and highly recommended. We'd love to come back.

This exclusive pearl of the Hunsrück region is always worth a visit.The unique establishment, adorned with waterfalls and an untouched forest landscape, invites everyone to enjoy valuable conversations with friends. The hospitality of the house is also shaped accordinglyIn-house slaughtering is perfected by staff on the short journey to the guest, which guarantees warm potatoes and juicy meat. The whole thing is garnished with our own herb quark, which completes the picture of the garden economy.

We were there today for Sunday breakfast. Totally beautiful, with the small waterfall. Great breakfast, very nice service. Thumbs up

If you are traveling in the Nahe Valley, this is a "One Of A Kind" stop near Idar-Oberstein. If you need a fancy tablecloth and food prepared by a schooled chef this is not your place, but if you are looking for the finest locally sourced meats and vegetables prepared right in front of you on an open fire, this is the place.After a long hike in the local mountains we stopped by for dinner. Outdoor eating, great food and a super nice owner and her husband.If you have young children, this is your stop. Plenty of area for children to play, and tons of toys to keep them busy.Overall a great place to bring your family for an outdoor barbecue prepared by people who love healthy food.

Wonderful open-air restaurant with quiet tables and an idyllic setting. Hiking opportunities are numerous. Accessibility by public transport is very good. Service and food are excellent. Everything is freshly prepared on the snifter. Regional products.
